As part of Saltillo Day in Austin, join your friends at this free, family-friendly unveiling of a new mural at Mexic-Arte Museum.

The Austin and Saltillo Sister Cities’ 55th Anniversary celebration May 3-5, 2024 includes Saltillo-based artists creating murals at Plaza Saltillo and Mexic-Arte Museum with the assistance of Austin Independent School District’s International High School students supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department.

These two murals are the first public art installations on the Mexican American Heritage Corridor connecting downtown to the eastside of Austin along E. 5th Street.
