Welcome to The Austin-Saltillo Sister Cities Association

Since 1968, the Austin-Saltillo Sister Cities Association (ASSCA) fosters a lasting partnership between Austin, Texas, and Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. We promote community events, collaborative projects in the arts, educational exchanges, and economic partnerships to strengthen our ties.

Residents of both cities are encouraged to learn from each other, share experiences, and work together on projects that benefit their communities. Our initiatives aim to enhance understanding, build friendships, and create growth opportunities.

Our mission is to foster exchanges between Austin and Saltillo which focus on tourism, education, health, public safety, art, music, culture, humanitarian, international trade, and other cross-border projects.

By fostering these bonds, the ASSCA contributes to a more connected world, celebrating the shared heritage and values of our vibrant cities.
